Questions and answers and birds! Oh my! Our own Dr. Rick Axelson was invited to spend the evening at last night’s meeting of the Budgerigar and Foreign Bird Society (BFBS) to lead a question and answer session.  Questions about nutrition were dominant at the monthly meeting, but BFBS members were also curious to know more about behaviour and foreign bodies in parrots (when parrots eat things they shouldn’t be eating).  We would like to thank BFBS president Deirdre Graham (pictured here with Rick and several avian BFBS members) along with everyone at the Budgerigar and Foreign Bird Society for welcoming Rick to their meeting and their warm hospitality.
