What are your requirements for boarding?

We require that birds have been tested negative for Chlamyia, Polyomavirus, and Beak and Feather Virus within the last 12 month period.

For reptiles, we ask that you provide all the necessary housing (terrarium if needed, specialized lighting, misters, etc) and dietary (crickets or other insects, frozen foods) items.

No special requirements needed for most other exotics (rabbits, rodents, ferrets).

Our Toronto clinic carries a wide array of different food items and will also provide fresh greens, vegetables and fruits to those species that require them.

We require that dogs be vaccinated against rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and Bordetella (kennel cough) and that cats be vaccinated against rabies, panleukopenia (feline distemper), feline leukemia virus (FeLV), and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).  We also ask that you provide any food items that your dog and cat would need.
