Before Your Appointment…

Your veterinarian will need basic information on your pet, especially if you’re bringing them in for the first time. Please bring the following information along with you to your appointment:

  • Photos of your pet’s enclosure
  • Photos of your pet’s main diet, treats, as well as any supplements and/or medication your pet is currently taking
  • Photos and/or videos of any concerning behaviour your pet is displaying at home and/or output (for example: feces, urine, vomit, etc.)
  • List of questions you have for your veterinarian

These pieces of information can be shown on your phone during your appointment. Please make sure that your photos and videos are clear and in focus!

Other Important Things to Note Before Coming To Our Clinic:

MASK POLICY: We are no longer requiring our clients to wear masks in our clinic. However, everyone is welcome to wear a mask if they choose according to their own comfort levels. We request that all of our clients be respectful of our staff and other clients who may make a different choice.

NEW CLIENT FORM: If you are a new client and/or bringing a new pet in for their first visit, remember to fill out our New Client Registration Form well before your appointment time. This ensures a quick and easy check-in at the front desk when you arrive for your appointment!

PET CARRIERS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY:

To ensure the safety and comfort of all clients, pets, and staff, our clinic requires that all pets be securely contained in a carrier or cage before entering the facility.

Why This Policy Is Important:

  1. Preventing Injuries: Loose pets can be unpredictable, and encounters with other animals may lead to injuries. If a pet is injured or causes harm to another pet due to lack of containment, the pet owner assumes full liability.

  2. Protecting Clients and Staff: Some individuals may have allergies, phobias, or medical conditions that make unrestrained pets a concern. Keeping pets in carriers helps maintain a controlled and comfortable environment.

  3. Reducing Stress for Pets: A veterinary clinic can be a stressful place for animals. A secure carrier provides a familiar and safe space, minimizing anxiety and the risk of escape.

Policy Enforcement:

  • Clients arriving without an appropriate carrier will be asked to wait outside or in their vehicle until they are ready to be seen and must sign a liability waiver before their appointment.

  • If a client does not have a carrier, a temporary one may be available for clinic use.
