Jordan Palmer, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Jordan Palmer joined our clinic family in 2024 shortly after graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College. Jordan has her B.Sc. in Biomedical Science with a minor in Sociology from the University of Guelph and spent her final year completing a research course under the Human Anatomy department of Biomedical Sciences. She is a member of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians, and the College of Veterinarians of Ontario.
Jordan has had a passion for animal health, particularly in exotics, since she was very young and that passion continued to grow throughout her education. She has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was in kindergarten, she has been a frequent visitor and volunteer at the Toronto Zoo, and she has grown up loving her many pets. Jordan focused her veterinary education in mixed animal medicine and externed in Nova Scotia.
Since starting her veterinary schooling Jordan has added to her family by adopting her first surgery patient Peri the cat and a hamster surgery patient fondly named Mr. Nibbles.
In her free time Jordan is an avid reader, loves drawing and trying different types of art media to various levels of success. She loves swimming, camping, traveling, and spending time with her pets.
